Platelet-Rich Plasma
{ PRP }
Platelet-rich plasma {PRP} heals various conditions in the body, from muscle injuries to smoothing fine lines on the face. The peptides being healed are essential to the skin’s structure and function, most importantly with factors of firmness, texture and overall appearance.
PRP is extracted from your own blood sample by spinning in a centrifuge. We replace the serum used in a standard micro-needling treatment with your PRP. As an injection, this rebuilds soft tissue by redirecting powerful growth factors to restructure the skin’s integrity and texture. The injections can be used to naturally replace fillers such as Juvederm for a “duck-free” guarantee.
See more details below.
PRP injections can be administered directly into muscle tissue to encourage injury repair and address the source of chronic pain.
Micro-needling combined with your PRP repairs rough or damaged skin leaving you with brand new, baby skin. Wrinkles are not only disguised immediately but the long-term effects are actively working to repair the root problem—peptides.
“Peptides are found in every human cell and play an important role in how the body functions, often acting as a biological messenger. Peptides have a myriad of uses in the body, from being the building blocks for enzymes, hormones and energy source.”

Peptides are protein building blocks, including collagen in the skin. Without these proteins wrinkles, brittle nails, and dry/damaged hair become noticeable. Your body recognizes these peptides and signals your body to heal itself by producing more collagen where you need it most. For instance, if you are healing from an ankle injury, peptides will signal your body to repair your ankle by sending collagen. If your skin is aging prematurely, peptides will signal your body to boost collagen and hyaluronic acid production, plumping the skin and restoring a healthy skin barrier. By introducing exogenous peptides onto the skin (like a serum moisturizer) it tricks the skin into thinking it’s injured or wounded, thereby stimulating the collagen- boosting process.
“So if peptides are already present within the body, why do we need more of them? The answer, according to experts, is aging. We lose 1% of our remaining collagen per year after age 30. Our skin’s natural communication channels also slow down over time… but simply slathering peptides onto your skin with topical products does not give you more of them. How they work is a little more complex.”
